‘’For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither* cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.’’
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse is taken from John. This bible verse is a part of Jesus Christ’s conversation with Nicodemus, In this verse, Jesus is saying that people who do evil deeds do not want to come to the light because they are afraid of being exposed for their sins. They would rather stay in the darkness where their sins are hidden. We can see why they avoid the light? But it is their wrong perception that all of their acts are hidden from God and no can see their acts. God is our creator, he created us in a great manner which is proof that he is a master of creation, Then how he can’t see our hidden plans and feelings.
So we see through this today’s bible verse that those who are busy in doing wrong to others are completely unaware of what they can get in return. Or they are all very far from God, they are not even afraid of God’s wrath. Maybe all of these people will get temporary happiness by wrongdoings, or maybe they get what they want but they won’t be happy for long. Because God is watching. He loves his people so much he never wants his people to see his wrath or face his destruction. He always wants us to be forgiven. If he wants, he can take our breath away in a pinch, separate our soul from our body but if this does not happening to us we should have to think.
Conclusion:
So my dear brothers and sisters, This verse has a few messages. First, it teaches us that sin is something that we should be ashamed of. We should not want to hide our sins from God or from others. Second, it teaches us that the light of Christ exposes our sin. When we come to Christ, he shines his light on our sins and all of our sins will be removed. Finally, this verse teaches us that we need to come to the light of Christ. Only in him can we find forgiveness and cleansing for our sins. If you are struggling with sin in your life, I encourage you to come to the light of Christ. He is the only one who can truly forgive you and cleanse you of your sin. He loves you and wants to help you.
