John 4:31,32
“In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.”
Explanation of this verse:
In today’s bible verse, the disciples encourage Jesus to have some food because they care about His health. The disciples, not realizing the deeper meaning of what He was doing, pay attention to their everyday needs. Jesus said, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about. ” This shows a deeper meaning. For Jesus, having food is less important than completing His special purpose. He’s trying to teach the disciples that there are deeper “nourishments” in life besides just food. These come from following God’s wishes and sharing His love with other people.
This verse encourages believers to think about how meaningful and fulfilling a life centered on God’s purpose can be. Although it’s important to focus on everyday matters, we shouldn’t forget the important task of sharing God’s love and truth. Jesus shows that real happiness comes from our connection with God and our readiness to help others. In this meeting, He inspires us to desire not only physical things but also a closer relationship with God, which gives us true happiness and meaning in life.
