“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse is taken from proverbs. This bible verse tells us the importance of honoring God with the first fruit of our harvest. Which clearly describes that we are acknowledging that whatever we have are all of our God’s blessings. Furthermore honoring God with substance means that giving som portion from our income or wealth, which is taken as 10% of your income or wealth. This can be included as money or any valuable thing. As we all know that our God loves us so much that His blessing and gifts to us shows His perfect love. And 10% return to him also shows our love for our Lord.
Furthermore, from this bible verse, we learn that giving is a so much blissful act that’s why God gives us abundantly. When we give some portion we not only showing our love with our God but we also support the great work of God of giving in this world. This act is also a great source of storing treasures in heaven. Which can’t end but our wealth and treasures what all we have here in our earth life is temporary and will end whenever the will of God. It all depends upon God’s will. Whether he will take all that you have in seconds or he never take from you till you death.
Conclusion:
So, dear brothers and sisters, We learn from this bible verse that We should continue the great act of giving until we have wealth, or until we die. As Christians, we should always believe that giving doubles our blessings here on earth and in Heaven too when we give. As a believer, we should believe on this great promise which he promised in today’s bible verse. Absolutely by our this act, he will remove all financial abundance, difficulties, and sins from our lives and make us kind-hearted men of God.Giving to God is not about getting something in return. It is about expressing our love and gratitude to Him. We should always pray to God to make us giver, not taker.
