Psalms 11:5
“The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.”
Explanation:
Today’s Bible verse: The lesson here is that God searches the hearts and actions of those who are righteous. The tests and tribulations that the believer experiences do not mean that God has left him alone, but rather they are tests meant to develop their faith, their character, and to prove their faithfulness. In the same way that gold can be refined through the heat of fire, God tests believers in order to build endurance, faith, and maturity.
This Bible verse: This second section of the poem gives insights into the holiness of God as well as His intolerance of all forms of wickedness and violence. God is a perfect example of righteousness, and it is not possible for Him to allow such behaviors to thrive among His followers. People who love violence and other evil things oppose the intentions of God. It is evident that God requires His children to pursue righteousness, love, and peace instead of wickedness and violence.

So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Conclusion: This passage reminds us to persevere in our faith when it faces challenges, remembering that God is working on us with the intention of preparing us for Himself. But it also calls on us to reject all that is wicked, hateful, and violent and to live as God is holy. We can do this in our everyday lives through believing in God in times of testing, through self-examination, treating others with love and compassion, and through being righteous in all decisions.
