“In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?”

In the passage, the author shows his/her total faith in God and asks why he/she should be encouraged to flee like a scared bird. This passage gives the message that faith is all about trusting God and not living in fear. People can find it difficult to face challenges and thus opt to flee from the situation.

There are instances when people surrounding us might encourage us to give up, retreat, and solve problems from a purely human point of view. Nevertheless, it becomes clear that believing in God helps develop the necessary fortitude. God is present during our times of need and serves as our protector. We do not face difficulties because of our faith, but we have the confidence to deal with them
