Luke 1:5
“There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.”
Explanation:
In Today’s bible verse, they were chosen by God during the time of King Herod. Zacharias was a priest of the priestly order of Abia, while Elisabeth was a descendant of the house of Aaron. It can be seen that these two characters came from families devoted to God.

During the time of Herod, the world was not an easy place to live in; however, Zacharias and Elisabeth remained loyal to God despite everything. The lesson that we learn from them is that the love between God and man should not be conditional on anything at all.
