John 5:6
“When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?”
Explanation:
Today’s bible verse: Even when Jesus saw this man who had been lying down for years in the state of suffering and despair, He already knew everything that this man was feeling. However, Jesus asked him a rhetorical question: “Wilt thou be made whole?”, which was done not because Jesus did not know something, but because He desired to hear from the man what he wanted from Jesus. From this verse, one can see that Jesus knows everything about the problems of people that they experience, whether physical, mental, or spiritual.
Today’s bible verse: This verse also reveals that transformation starts from an open heart. At times, people may get used to their problems to the point where they feel that they cannot change anymore. But Jesus tells us that He has the ability to transform us into something different even when there is not much that can be done about our problems. The question from Jesus challenges us to take a look at our hearts and ask ourselves if we really want transformation from Him.

So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in summary, all in all, from this Bible verse, we understand that Jesus is aware of our deepest needs without our telling Him and is always ready to assist us. This truth is applicable to our lives when we bring our cares, weaknesses, and problems to Jesus through prayer, trusting in His ability to heal and restore us. In response to Jesus’ call, we must not live in fear and despair but rather live with the faith that He calls for in order to experience a new life.
