Today’s Bible verse.where James and John followed Jesus immediately and without any delay. They abandoned everything else, including their father, their livelihood, and their familiar lifestyle. This shows that the following of Christ involves having trust, commitment, and the desire to put Him before all other considerations. They understood that what Jesus had offered them went beyond a prosperous job—it was a call to serve in His kingdom for eternity.
This Bible verse. Jesus also tells us that ordinary individuals can do great things for Him through this scripture. James and John were both fishermen, but Jesus recognized what he could make of them and turned them into true disciples, who helped spread the gospel of Jesus to the entire world. God’s choice is not based on our social standing, education, or wealth. He seeks those with hearts ready to obey Him. When we surrender ourselves to His will, He gives us all that we need.

So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, as we can see, in order to follow Christ, one should be obedient to Him and believe Him more than anything in the world. We can practice this teaching in our everyday life by prioritizing Christ in all of our actions, spending time on studying His Word, ministering to others with humility, and immediately obeying whatever He says to do right. By living this way, we allow Christ to transform us, increase our faith, and influence others through us.
