“In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.”

In this Today’s bible verse, John 5:3 speaks about the gathering of people at the pool of Bethesda who were sick and disabled and were looking for healing whenever the waters were stirred up. John 5:3 shows how much human beings need healing, restoration, and hope in their lives. The blind, crippled, and those with withered legs were there because they had faith in the idea that healing could take place. The gathering at the pool of Bethesda shows how human beings, when faced with suffering, have a natural urge to seek healing and liberation from their suffering.
Today’s bible verse: In addition, this scripture introduces the revelation of Jesus Christ’s compassion and power. As people concentrated on the movement of water, soon after, Jesus would show that healing could be accomplished through Him. This shows that despite turning to different aspects of life or even solutions for help, we must have faith in God. God knows our weaknesses and challenges and can offer us what we lack based on His own plan and purpose.
