John 4:51
“And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying*, Thy son liveth.”
Explanation:
This today’s bible verse shows us that when we have faith, we have to believe in something before we actually see it happen. The man did not say I need to see proof or wait until something happens. He just believed what Jesus promised. Kept moving forward because he trusted him. The man’s trust and faith were rewarded before he even got home. Faith, like this, is really important because it helps us to believe in Jesus and what he says.
In this bible verse, God’s work is really not limited by how far something is or how long it takes. This is clear when you think about the man who was still on his way. The miracle had already happened. This shows us that when God says something, His words have a lot of power and they can make things happen just like He promises. The servants who met the man on the road are an example of how God often does things that surprise us and help us believe in Him even more as we keep going on our journey with God. God’s promises are always confirmed by God in ways we do not expect, which helps our faith in God as we walk with God.
Conclusion:
So, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, from today’s bible verse, we should trust God’s word even when we do not see anything happening. We have to be like the man in the story and have faith. We can do things to make this work in our lives. We can remember what God has promised us when things are not going well. We are not sure what to do. We have to be patient and just keep moving because we know God is with us. If we really trust God, we will see that He is faithful.. A lot of the time, He does more for us than we even thought He would. We will see God’s faithfulness when we trust God’s word.
