He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”
Explanation of this verse:
In this today’s bible verse, Nicodemus approaches Jesus and acknowledges that he recognizes Jesus as a teacher who has come from God. He acknowledges the signs and miracles that Jesus has been performing, recognizing that such works can only be possible if God’s presence and power are with him.
The message conveyed in this verse is twofold. Firstly, it highlights Nicodemus’s acknowledgement and affirmation of Jesus as a teacher from God. Nicodemus recognizes Jesus as someone with divine authority and the ability to perform miraculous signs. It demonstrates Nicodemus’s initial understanding and respect for Jesus’ teachings and his recognition of Jesus’ special relationship with God.
Secondly, this verse emphasizes the significance of Jesus’ miracles as evidence of his divine connection. The signs and wonders that Jesus performs are not merely extraordinary feats but are seen as a confirmation of his divine origin and his close relationship with God. Nicodemus acknowledges this connection and offers it as a testimony to the divine authority that Jesus possesses.
Overall, this verse serves to establish the credibility of Jesus as a teacher sent by God and underscores the importance of recognizing the signs and miracles as evidence of God’s presence and power working through Jesus. So we should have to see closely our self where we are standing. If we are to far from God then we have to follow his teaching and principles to succeed. I encourage you to if you are facing the darkness in your life then you have to see the light only through Jesus.
Light is only in Jesus. Jesus is the son of God who tells us about the right paths of life, the paths which God likes, the paths which take us close to God, paths that take us far from sins, paths that light up our life, and all blessings come to us only through these paths. The paths were written by God itself in the holy bible. In order to get light we should have to read the holy bible daily.
Reading the Bible daily is a great way to connect with God and grow in your faith. When you read the Bible, you are hearing God’s voice and learn about His plans for your life. The Bible is full of wisdom and guidance, and it can help you to make wise decisions, overcome challenges, and live a life that is pleasing to God.
