Proverbs 3:31,32
“Envy thou not the oppressor*, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.”
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse is taken from Proverbs which reminds us not to be tempted by people who seem successful but have gotten there through unfair or harmful actions. It tells us not to envy those who are in charge and warns us not to follow the bad behaviors of people who gain success or power by being cruel or dishonest. The verse tells us to stay away from choices that go against God’s teachings, even if they look like they could bring success, because these choices will ultimately cause harm.
This bible verse also talks about “froward” people, which means those who are stubbornly disobedient or behave badly. God sees this way of living as very wrong. This is a warning that living for selfish reasons, pride, or lying does not please God, even if it leads to success in the world. God doesn’t appreciate power gained by hurting others, and any success based on unfairness is empty and won’t last. The verse comforts us by saying that God notices and does not like unfair actions. It reminds us that true peace and goodness cannot happen when people are being treated badly.

So, my dear sisters and brothers, we learn from Today’s bible verse that we need to eliminate selfishness, pride, or deceit from our lives. Try to keep it before God in prayer with faith so that he will help you and remove all curses from your life. Therefore, it is important that we examine our lives and determine if we are not right in our lives with others. If you don’t treat others with good manners or tell lies to other people, then be sure that you are not doing this to other people, but to God, and whoever cheats or deceives God, will certainly never be able to get his help. Therefore, we should stay away from all these sins so that we can please our God and receive His blessings abundantly.
