Matthew 5:2,3
“And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse is taken from Matthew and is part of what Jesus teaches in the Sermon on the Mount. Here, He talks about blessings called the Beatitudes. When Jesus says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit,” He means people who understand that they need God. “Being ‘poor in spirit’ means realizing that we can’t do everything by ourselves and that we need God’s help and direction in our lives. ” This kind of humility helps us accept God’s love, strength, and blessings.
Further, in this bible verse, When Jesus says, “theirs is the kingdom of heaven,” He means that God’s kingdom is for those who are humble and seek Him. Unlike regular kingdoms that focus on power and being independent, God’s kingdom is meant for people who realize they need Him. This kingdom isn’t just something we hope for in the future; it also means experiencing God’s peace, joy, and purpose in our lives today by following His ways.

So, dear brothers and sisters, from today’s bible verse, Jesus encourages us to live with humble hearts, relying on God instead of trying to do everything by ourselves. Cast all your troubles and worries on Jesus Christ, because only our God knows what you want to do, what you are doing, and what will happen to you, and He will save you all these difficulties and troubles. He has the authority and power to get rid of problems, so trust in him, mention all these difficulties and problems in prayer with him, surely he will free you from all of them and we should also advise others about this.
