Psalms 10:3,4
“For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.”
Explanation:

While the righteous look to the Lord in humility and reliance, the wicked look to themselves alone, with no consideration for God’s will or judgment. Their very existence is devoted to self-exaltation and selfish gain and places no value on righteousness.
This attitude breeds moral decadence and alienation from God. The passage is a humbling reminder that pride and greed are not simply individual weaknesses but active defiance of God, precipitating His wrath and ultimate judgment.
