If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse carries a significant message about the nature of faith and understanding. In this statement, Jesus addresses his disciples, highlighting the importance of grasping and believing in the foundational teachings before delving into more profound and heavenly truths.
The verse serves as a reminder that spiritual growth is a gradual process. Jesus uses the term “earthly things” to refer to the essential teachings and principles that form the bedrock of faith. These teachings encompass love, compassion, forgiveness, and other fundamental virtues that guide believers in their earthly lives. Jesus is concerned that if his disciples struggle to believe and apply these earthly teachings in their daily existence, they may face even greater difficulties in comprehending the deeper mysteries of the divine and “heavenly things.”
The message of this verse encourages believers to nurture a strong and unwavering faith in the basic teachings of Christ. By embracing and living out these foundational principles, individuals lay a firm groundwork for their spiritual journey. It signifies that the genuine exploration of heavenly truths is predicated on a receptive and faithful heart. When believers demonstrate sincere commitment to the earthly teachings, their spiritual understanding expands, leading them to a deeper connection with God and an increased capacity to grasp the profound realities of the spiritual realm.
Furthermore, this verse emphasizes the interconnectedness of earthly and heavenly matters. It implies that the spiritual realm is not isolated or disconnected from our human experiences but rather intricately woven into the fabric of our lives. Through the understanding and application of earthly teachings, believers are better equipped to discern and appreciate the heavenly mysteries that transcend the physical world.
So dear’s, we should always be ready ourselves, should always demand strong faith in our prayers from God, so that we can easily understand the heavenly things which our Lord wants to tell us. The only prayer with a true heart can takes us close to our God. Surely when we take ourselves to God and demand forgiveness of our sins, Then our Lord who is Graceful forgives us and blessed us with all heavenly things. Which can’t be stolen by anyone on Earth. We can’t imagine when our Lord is happy with us then he does the impossible, same as he has done in his earthly life of waking up the dead Lazarus.
Reading the Bible daily is a great way to connect with God and grow in your faith. When you read the Bible, you are hearing God’s voice and learn about His plans for your life. The Bible is full of wisdom and guidance, and it can help you to make wise decisions, overcome challenges, and live a life that is pleasing to God. As we all know every bible verse has a special message for believers, we also know that reading of bible verses is so blessed, So imagine how blessed we will be if we share God’s Word with others. Today’s bible verse has a special message in it, so let us all share the holy word of God with others so that other misguided people can also be blessed by this word.
