‘’And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.’’
Explanation of this verse:
The Bible verse Matthew 2:11, “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh,” tells the story of the wise men who visited Jesus after his birth. The wise men were from the east, and they had followed a star to find Jesus. When they arrived at the house where Jesus was staying, they fell down and worshipped him. They then presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
This Bible verse has several messages. First, it shows that Jesus is worthy of worship. The wise men were from different cultures and religions, but they all recognized Jesus as the Messiah. They fell down and worshipped him, even though they had never seen him before. This shows that Jesus is a universal figure who is worthy of worship from all people.
Second, this Bible verse shows that Jesus is a king. The wise men brought Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. These were all gifts that were typically given to kings. The gold represented Jesus’s royalty, the frankincense represented his divinity, and the myrrh represented his death. This shows that Jesus is the King of Kings, and he is worthy of our praise. The myrrh that the wise men brought Jesus was a spice that was used to anoint the dead. This shows that Jesus was willing to die for our sins. He is the ultimate sacrifice that was made for us.
The message of Matthew 2:11 is that Jesus is worthy of our worship, he is a king, and he is a sacrifice. We should all fall down and worship Jesus, and we should give him our lives as a sacrifice of praise. We should always have to be thankful to God, for his beautiful plan, which clearly proves that Jesus Christ is the only God. We should always be thankful to for him, making us his followers or believers. There are so many examples we got from Jesus’ life which are enough to prove that he is the only God. He is the God of Gods and the king of kings.
