John 5:5
“And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity* thirty and eight years.”
Explanation:
In Today’s bible verse, a person with an infirmity or disease for thirty-eight years is being mentioned. It was a helpless situation, where, humanly speaking, there were no solutions available to solve his problem. But what this verse teaches us is that even though a person suffers for so many years, God does not forget them. While a person gives up after so many years of hopelessness, there are no limitations on God’s power in terms of time.
Today’s bible verse: From this passage, we can learn about persistence and belief in tough times of life. The man waited by the pool, expecting to be healed even after facing so many disappointments. From this passage, we can understand that in spite of the delay in our answers, we should not lose our trust in God. Jesus healed him when everything seemed impossible for him and when everything was in its final stage.

So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, the message that can be drawn from this scripture is that no matter how long ago the trouble began, how hard it is, or how hopeless it may seem, it is never beyond the reach of Jesus Christ. No matter what issues one is facing, whether it is illness, financial problems, relationship problems, or weakness of spirit, we must keep trusting in God’s power and timing. We can live out this scripture in our own lives through faithfulness in prayer and in not losing hope while knowing that God is always able to work in our favor.
