Today’s bible verse begins by saying, “For God so loved the world.” This tells us that God’s love for us is not based on anything we have done or can do. It is a love that is freely given, even to those who do not deserve it. Indeed, the love of our God is so eternal that He gave His only Son to be sacrificed for our sins. This is a task that is not a matter for any human being. But only God’s. That no man can ever sacrifice his son or daughter because he does not have a heart as big as our God’s.
The verse then goes on to say that God “gave his only begotten Son.” This means that Jesus was not just a prophet or a teacher. He was God’s own son, sent to earth to die for our sins. He came to earth to share the word of God among His people. Which shows God’s divine mission and shows that He sent His only Son to go and guide all people. And God also gave power to his only begotten Son to forgive the sins of all people, and his Son forgave the sins of all who came to him with a sincere heart.
The final part of the verse says, “that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This means that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ will not have to face eternal punishment for their sins. Instead, they will have the gift of eternal life in heaven. Because those who believe in Him follow His orders which save them from all evil and sins. And how can he who lives according to God’s commands deserve God’s wrath? God’s wrath is for those who do not recognize His way. And worship gods made with hands.

My dear brothers and sisters, this teaches us that if we are wandering in sins and evils in our lives, we need to give our lives to God. We can receive God’s blessings only by living our lives according to God’s word. We should be thankful to God and keep thanking him in prayer all the time.
