‘’The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me’’
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse is taken from Psalms chapter 7. This bible verse is a declaration of faith in God’s justice. David, is facing false accusations and enemies who are trying to destroy him. But he knows that God is the ultimate judge of all people, and he trusts that God will vindicate him. His God never ever do injustice to anyone. He knows all false accusations of his enemies and also knows very well about their bad plans for him, which they hide from other people but they can’t hide from God.
His enemies are doing what they all want but he knows very well that his God is with him. His enemies do nothing with him. He has complete faith in his God, which is also a great power of him. The first part of today’s bible verse, “The LORD shall judge the people,” affirms God’s sovereignty. God is the ultimate ruler of the universe, and he will ultimately judge all people according to their deeds. This means that no one can escape God’s judgment, not even the powerful and the wealthy. Power and wealth are totally earthly things and no one takes both in the kingdom of God. All will go empty-handed from earth.
The second part of today’s bible verse, “judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me,” is a request for God’s justice. David knows that he is innocent of the charges against him, and he asks God to judge him fairly. He also acknowledges that he is not perfect, but he trusts that God will see his integrity and vindicate him. This verse teaches us several important truths about God’s justice. First, God is the righteous judge of all people. He will not let the wicked go unpunished, and he will reward the righteous. Second, we can trust God to judge us fairly.
Conclusion:
So my dear brothers and sisters, If you are facing difficult circumstances or false accusations, remember this verse. God is the ultimate judge of all people, and he will ultimately vindicate you if you are innocent. Trust in his justice and keep living your life in a way that is pleasing to him. He knows our hearts and our motives, and he will not judge us based on appearances. We should live our lives in light of God’s judgment. Knowing that God will judge one day. He will not do unfair to anyone. Then I encourage all of you whatever you are facing in your life believe that he will change everything one day if you have a faith in him.
