Psalm 10:11
“He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.”
Explanation:
Today’s Bible verse is taken from the Psalms, which shows the dangerous attitude of a person who thinks they can act unjustly without suffering any repercussions. In their heart, they deceive themselves into thinking that God is not there, that He is not aware of what is happening, that “He hath forgotten… He will never see it.” This is how sin in the heart can lead to more sin in the heart, as pride and sin can begin in the heart.
However, This bible verse is also a warning and not a fact about the nature of God. God does not forget and does not turn a blind eye to injustice. The silence of God is not the absence of God. While judgment may not be instantaneous, God observes all actions, all intentions, and all secret thoughts. This verse reminds us that human perceptions of God do not alter the reality of God, who is always watchful, just, and aware.
