‘’Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands’’
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s Bible verse Psalm 7:2-3, “Lest he tears my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;” is a prayer of David, asking God for protection from his enemies. He is afraid that his enemies will tear him apart like a lion, and that there will be no one to help him. He asks God to forgive him if he has done anything wrong, and to deliver him from his enemies. Because my enemy is stronger than me and I am very weak, my only support is my God.
The verse can also be interpreted as a metaphor for David’s own inner turmoil. He is struggling with guilt and fear, and he is asking God for help. His faith is very strong in his God and he believes that his God will help him. He believes that when his God helps him, all the plans of his enemies will fail because his God is a true God who lives in his promises. We also need to examine ourselves whether we have firm faith in our God-like David?
The verse can also be seen as a warning to those who do wrong. If we sin, we will face the consequences, and there may be no one to help us. No human can even imagine how severe the test given by God has become. Because the helper belongs to God alone, the Creator knows best how to help us. He is our God, He knows everything, He knows our hearts and the hearts of our enemies, so nothing is hidden from Him.
Conclusion:
The message of this today’s Bible verse is very clear that we should always trust in God, no matter what. Our faith will make us superior to the plans of our enemies. If we have even a little faith in us, surely God will help us and defeat all the plans of our enemies. We should always keep one thing in our minds that we are believers of one living God. He is our only hope for protection and deliverance. We can do nothing without His help. No matter how hard we try, if our God is not pleased with us, we cannot do anything, our enemies will overcome us and we will be destroyed. And for the strength of faith, it is necessary that we read his words and ask for his help in prayer.
