Matthew 5:6,7
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
Explanation of this verse:
Today’s bible verse is taken from Matthew which talks about how deeply people desire spiritual connection and care for others. To hunger and thirst for righteousness means to really want a life that follows God’s wishes, honesty, and fairness. Just like our need for food and water makes us look for things to eat and drink, our desire for a spiritual connection pushes us to seek a closer relationship with God and understand His teachings. This verse says that people who really look for this connection will not be left without anything; instead, they will be filled with God’s presence and blessings.
The second part of this bible verse talks about the importance of being kind and how kindness is shared between people. Mercy is not just something we give to others; it also shows what God is like. To show mercy means to be kind, forgive, and understand others, even if they don’t deserve it. This verse tells us that people who are kind will also get kindness from God, showing that He is fair and reliable.
Conclusion:
So, dear brothers and sisters, From today’s bible verse, we learn that all of those who are righteous and merciful are blessed. So it is the time to see ourselves where we are standing. Are we among those who are righteous and merciful or unrighteous and unmerciful? It is the time to change ourselves. This time never came again once it was gone. Think of yourself. so today I encourage you to leave whatever you have done in the past. Surrender yourself in front of your God. Ask for forgiveness of your sins. God is so merciful and has the authority to forgive you. Same that he wants you to do merci on his other people. Then you will be blessed.
