Luke 1:19
“And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.”
Explanation:
In this verse, this scripture, Luke 1:19, portrays the angel Gabriel stating his station in life and the reason for being. Gabriel states that he stands in the presence of God and has been dispatched from Him to talk to him and give him good news. This serves as a reminder that God has a plan and that His plan is unfolding even in situations where man fails to recognize God’s workings. Also, this scripture is evidence that God’s good news can bring joy in any situation.
Today’s Bible verse: It also illustrates to us the significance of listening to God. God had sent Gabriel to deliver a special message to Mary, which is an indication that God’s messages and promises should be taken seriously and believed in. It could be that at times we doubt because of our environment, but God’s plans are beyond human limitations.
Conclusion:
So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, as far as our own lives are concerned, there is much that we can do here as well. Firstly, we need to trust the promises of God even if the answers do not seem possible at the time or if they are late coming. We need to spend time in the Bible, in prayer, and in listening to what God wants us to know. We can also share the wonderful message of God’s love with others.
