Mark 1:32
“And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.”
Explanation:
Today’s Bible verse: In this verse, Mark 1:32, it is revealed that people would come to Jesus as the day was ending and bring with them sick people and those who were demon-possessed. This is an indication that Jesus has the ability and the mercy needed to heal people. Regardless of the circumstances that one is going through, Jesus has the ability to bring healing, comfort, and hope to them. People would not hide their problems but rather come to Jesus because of their faith in Him.
Today’s Bible verse. This verse also speaks to us about taking care of other people. It is not just that the people wanted help themselves, but they took along the people who were suffering to Jesus. It is an example to us that we must try to help others who are weak, ill, troubled, and in need. It also reminds us that Jesus is willing to receive people in their hard times.
Conclusion:
So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in our daily lives, we can use this lesson to bring our fears, problems, and needs to Jesus in prayer. We need to make it a point to help other people who are facing tough times by being there for them in terms of providing them with encouragement and care. When other people are hurting, we can pray for them, encourage them, and help them find comfort in Christ. In place of letting our fears take control of our lives, we need to trust in Jesus and follow His path.
