Romans 2:20
“An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.”
Explanation:
Today’s Bible verse: This verse in Romans 2:20 says that the individual sees himself as someone who teaches the foolish and teaches those who lack spiritual wisdom. This is said by Paul to people who thought themselves to be capable of teaching others because they knew the law and were aware of the truth. Being knowledgeable about the teachings of God is important, but it also means living according to what we know and have learned.
Today’s Bible verse. The message also serves as a warning against instructing others in righteousness while not practicing the truth in our lives. It is simple for us to instruct others on what is right, but God wants His Word to first transform us. Genuine spiritual instruction should not be done only through words and understanding but also through obedience, love, sincerity, and godliness.

So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, this lesson can be applied in our lives by looking into ourselves first before we teach others. We need to learn from God’s Word, but we should also make an effort to live up to that Word. If we teach our loved ones, families, or other people about God, our conduct must match our teachings. It is easy for us to become conceited because of the knowledge we have of the Bible; however, it is wiser to be humble and let the truth change us.
