Romans 2:18
“And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law.”
Today’s Bible verse: From this verse, we learn that it is both an honor and a burden to know the will of God. The individuals to whom Paul was writing had been taught according to God’s Law; hence, they knew the good from the evil. Knowledge of the Scriptures helps us understand God’s standards as well as what He deems acceptable and unacceptable.
Today’s Bible verse. Nevertheless, knowing the will of God alone is not sufficient. The desire of God is for His truth to impact how we conduct ourselves, how we talk, and the decisions we make. Apart from being able to see what is excellent, we are expected to put it into practice in our everyday life.
Conclusion:
So, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in summary, we can use this verse by always studying God’s Word, understanding His will, and following it out in our lives. Once we know God’s will, we should obey it regardless of how hard it may be for us. Rather than being boastful that we know the Bible, God’s Word should transform our hearts and actions. Therefore, we will not just have knowledge, but a living faith that brings glory to God and is an example for others.
